The flat iron can do amazingly wonderful things to your hair, if used with care
- Wash hair clean of any hair products.
- Separate hair into even ‘small’ sections.
- Once your hair is dry, apply heat protectant, before flat ironing.
- To avoid burning your hair put the flat iron on a lower setting rather than a high setting. American Academy of Dermatologists recommends that you never use heat over 347 degrees fahrenheit
The result you get will depend on many variables, from the overall condition of your hair to whether your hair is relaxed, natural, coloured, thick or thin.
Remember heat is one of the hairs worst enemies so use sparingly.
